Novruz Holiday Event was organized in
Hajihuseynli village on March 17, 2008
Though about an hour remained till the beginning of an event, there gathered
a lot of people in the Central Square of Hajihuseynli village. Everybody
from children to adults was lived a holiday happiness. This day was double
holiday for them. Everyone spoke about that the organizations of CHF and
«Umid»HSSC, implemented projects in their village, shared their happiness
and that they brought present to this event as well.
Jafar Mammadov, Hajihuseynli CDC Coordinator opened the event with opening
speech. He first of all expressed his deep gratitude by the name of the
village inhabitants and school’s collective to CHF and «Umid» HSSC, having
special role in improvement of social welfare of the village during the
latest 2 years, for their cooperation in and directly being organizer of
Novruz Holiday Event, their attention and care to the community, and their
respect to our traditions. He stated: «Our Novruz Holiday Event is more
interesting due to participation of CHF and «Umid» HSSC in this project as
our partners. Our selection out of 16 communities raises our enthusiasm, and
stimulates us for future external organizational activities, as well as for
extension of relations with other charitable societies, municipality and
other agencies, and stimulates us to organization of other events».
Then CHF and «Umid» HSSC representative congratulated all the guests,
representatives of neighbor communities, and expressed his gratitude to all
the inhabitants and governmental officials for their high-level cooperation.
Representatives of Alimammadoba, Dabudoba, Kupchal Gishlag, Hajigayib rural
schools made their contribution to the Holiday Event through their speeches
as well. The youth, elders and schoolchildren gathered around the fire and
invited Kosa (Beardless man) and Kechal (Bald) to egg-fight, and Spring Girl
– to rejoice the people with her happy visit, wish peace and tranquility. A
wrestler attended the Event and made it more interesting. He grasped
everybody’s attention via his quite different performance.
This is was a beautiful national holiday, filtered through centuries and
made deep traces in memories. A national holiday during which the people who
are in odd reconcile with each-other, and hearts are full of joy...
