Umid HSSC is proceeding to build the capacities of National NGOs

Umid HSSC launched the implementation of the project “NNGO Capacity Building” under the financial support of USAID and technical support of World Learning START.

The first training on Management and Supervisory skills was arranged on 25 April’ 2006 at Baku Business Center. 14 representatives of 7 NGOs cooperated with IMC attended the training.



The purpose of the project “National NGOs Capacity Building” is to develop institutional and organizational capacities of the Local non-governmental agencies working with International Medical Corps (IMC), by providing organizational capacity building trainings to managers and directors of these organizations.

• Management and Supervisory Skills (3 days)

• Proposal/Report Writing (3 days)

• Financial Management (3 days)

After the trainings consultations and instructing will be arranged for the NNGOs. In this stage Umid’s experts will provide consultations for each organization on each topic and provide the organizations with Guidelines and Handbooks on Internal rules, HR management, Procurement and Financial management etc.

The next training on Proposal/Report Writing will be arrange on 2-4 May’2006 at “Absheron” Hotel.
