Support to social-economical development of Communities in North Regions

OUTCOEMS & ACHIEVEMENTS:

• 4 communities were involved into training sessions on developing LCEP (Long-Term Community Economic Plans);
• Training capacities of 4 Community Liaising Officers were developed;
• 4 community groups were provided with consultative and mentoring services on the ways of preparing their LCEP;
• Marketable and socio-economic needs of 4 communities were  determined, SWOT analysis was conducted, their capacities to develop LCEP were increased;
• Close collaboration created with representatives of the local municipalities, local governmental agencies and the regional office representatives of the Ministries within the process of developing LCEP

• As a result of these collaborations, solution of several local problems of population was prioritized 

• The LCEP’s of 4 communities were prepared and submitted to Guba - Khachmaz Regional Department of Ministry of Economy to be integrated to state programs;

• Business competencies of the community actives were developed, and they acquired clear vision about how to survive from donor’s dependence and sustainability plan;
• 19 socio -economic needs of 4 community were determined and projected and was included to LCEP;
The communities/CBOs were liaised with governmental agencies.
