Winners of a drawing and article contest held on “Environment, Energy and Safety” were awarded
The 27th of June, 2007, Tovuz town

 

On June 27, 2007, the award ceremony of the winners of the painting and article contest on “Environment, Energy Use and Safety” was held in Tovuz region.
 

The goal of the contest held in compliance with the awareness raising component of the “Support to Environmental and Energy Initiatives” project, which is under implementation by “Umid” Humanitarian and Social Support Center, is to enhance the knowledge, skills and world outlook of the schoolchildren on environment, safety and energy.
 

134 articles and 286 paintings were submitted from 19 secondary schools in Tovuz and Akstafa regions. The paintings and articles submitted for the contest were evaluated and 28 schoolchildren were awarded with various valuable and incentive prices.

The schoolchildren who won the main I, II and III places were presented computers, video camera and photo camera.
The representatives from BP Exploration Ltd. Company, Executive Power of Tovuz region, schoolchildren, parents and teachers from the communities of Tovuz and Akstafa regions participated in the event.
