The Round Table was arranged on completion of
“Humanity is the peculiarity belonging only to a human” project within the framework of
“Zykh Community Development Initiative Project”

Introduction:
The first ring of the idea- chain of Community Education Projects within the framework of Zykh Community Development initiative project implemented by Umid HSSC under BP’s funding was the idea of provision barber services to the children inhabited in SOS-Childern’s Village Association – Azerbaijan. After appropriate negotiations with relevant parties a proposal and business plan was elaborated and the project launched its implementation intended by the plan. Mamedova, her apprentices who are involved into Apprenticeship – Vocational trainings as a component of ZCDI project and her colleagues provided SOS children with barber services. Accordingly the children were taken to an excursion to CRC, Apprenticeship sites, communities for raising their awareness on project implemented, its executor and donor, as well as providing them with social skills neceassary for profession choice in future. The above mentioned round table discussion is the last activity by the schedule.

Masters and apprentices involved to ZCDI project, community members, SOS village inhabitants – 15 children, 2 mothers, 1 aunt attended the round table discussion on the topic “Humanity is the peculiarity belonging only to a human” arranged with the aim of disseminating the idea as the best practice among communities and stimulating new ideas. The event was productive with active and expressive speeches of participants.
Executive Director of “Umid” HSSC spoke about ZCDI project, its donor and executor, project components and related activities, Community Education Projects and SOS related project that is being completed. He shared his ideas on benevolence which is the most important issue nowadays needed for people, suggested the attendees to share their opinions on the issue.

49 children inhabited in SOS-Children’s Village were provided with barber services, non-food relief items including 96 hygienic packages, 84 school aids, 15 sewing packages were distributed for the children. The things were contributed within the framework of “Logistical Support to UNHCR Programs in Azerbaijan” project
The attendees were informed on the idea of next educational project – art exhibition of Arzu Ahmedova, all of the attendees were invited to the exhibition on September 28. Besides there was stated that a board of judges will be generated for assessing other talented community members and apropriately identifying the capacities.
The discussion on the topic “Humanity is the peculiarity belonging only to a human” was finalized with sounding the above mentioned suggestions and joyful exclamations of SOS-village little inhabitants.
