20 youth involved in vocational skills development training through Apprenticeship method from Garadagh region Sahil, Sangachal, Umid settlements, 20th district, Bayil settlement, and from communities located in Zykh platform were presented certificates on April 23, 2009 related to completion of the courses.

The apprenticeship courses were organized within frameworks of «Youth Employment and Economic Opportunities Expansion Initiative along Baku Corridor» project implemented by «Umid» HSSC under financial support of BP Exploration (Caspian Sea) Ltd and its Partners.

These youth were involved in on-the-job training sessions on the trades of hairdresser, welder, repair of electric motors, computer programming depending on their wishes beginning from August of 2008, and acquired relevant skills.

Afterwards, the youth, awarded with certificates, attended "Development Resumes and successful interview" and "Entrepreneurship" trainings in order to learn elaboration of CVs for applying for jobs relevant to their skills, as well as to acquire interview technologies and get knowledge on business.
