7 Community Projects were
successfully completed in North-East regions
Umid Humanitarian and Social Support
Center arranged the opening ceremonies of 7 Community projects
implemented by ?Umid? Humanitarian & Social Support Center under the
financial support of USAID and technical support of International CHF in
Guba, Khachmaz, Davachi and Gusar regions.
These community projects was identified as a priority by the Community
Development Councils and will serve to improve the living conditions of
population.
Potable water and irrigation systems were renovated and access to
electricity in the community was improved within the community projects.
The opening ceremonies were held in Badirgala, Piral communities of Guba
region, Gandab community of Davachi region on April 9-10?2008, Baghbanli
& Amsar communities of Guba region, Ashagy Zeyid community of Khachmaz
region and Rahimli community of Davachi region on April 15-16?2008.
Representative of US Embassy, CHF International, Umid HSSC, local ExComs,
Media and members of neighbor communities took part at the events.
