Teze Shilyan community was provided with potable water
Ujar region, Azerbaijan,

On February 27, 2008 was arranged ceremony related with putting the Water Purifiers
into operation in Teze Shilyan village of Ujar region.
The ceremony was realized within Improvement of provision of potable
water- II Stage project implemented by Umid Humanitarian and Social
Support Center and Teze Shilyan community under financial support of BP
and its Co-Ventures.
Water used by Teze Shilyan village inhabitants will be purified and given to the
population in pure form through a modern water purifier installed by an
executive agency Ekvator-M LLC, the winner of the bid.
Quality of the water purified through water purifiers was analyzed by
MediClub Company, the purified water is in compliance with norms according
to findings of the Company.
The event was attended by representatives of BP, the first Deputy Head of
ExCom of Ujar region, specialists of Goychay Regional Department of the
Ministry of Ecology and Natural Recourses, representatives of Local Water
Office, United Water Channel Department, as well as by leaders and members
of neighboring communities.
