28th of May Holiday Happiness of “Hagigat” community members

On May 28’ 2005, Opening Ceremony of one more project – “Construction of gas supply pipeline” project was organized in Zykh Road of Khatai region. The project was implemented by “Hagigat” community under the support of “Umid” Humanitarian and Social Support Center.

Direct beneficiaries of “Construction of gas supply pipeline” project was 22 families populated in the building of ex-kindergarten #3a.

Total budget of the project started to be implemented based on G-03 BPSD 53472/02 Contract signed between “Umid” HSSC and “Hagigat” CAT on March 10, 2005 comprised 54.501.200 (fifty four million five hundred one thousand two hundred) AzM. In accordance with the terms of the Contract, project budget was divided between the parties, i.e. “Umid” HSSC and “Hagigat” community as the follows:

• Payment by “Umid” HSSC – 49.501.200 (forty nine million five hundred one thousand two hundred) AzM;
• Contribution by “Hagigat” community (community contribution) – 5.000.000 (five million) AzM. 3.000.000 (three million) AzM of this amount was provided in-cash.

Third party of the project is “Karvan” small enterprise performing work in accordance with Azerbaijan Legislature.

The following repair and rehabilitation works were conducted under the project:

- Construction of gas supply pipeline to the building from the outside;
- Construction of gas supply pipeline inside the building;
- Installation of the arch;
- Installation of metal logs and bolts;
- Installation of gas meters.

Community contribution:

- Elaboration and approval of the project scheme by Azerbaijan Scientific Research and Gas Project Institute.

About 70 people, including CAT members of “Hagigat” community, members of other communities, staff members of “Umid” HSSC Head Office and Zykh Office participated in the Opening Ceremony.
