Zykh communities celebrated Novruz Holiday 
Zykh, Khatai district, Baku, Azerbaijan, March 14,, 2006

Novruz holiday with its ancient history is celebrated by Azerbaijanis with a great festivity. Novruz is a new year, meeting of the first day of graceful spring.

Novruz immortalizing our moral values, customs and traditions of long ages, creates a healthy and firm foundation like strengthening of solidity and tenderness, care and kindness amongst people,

For this very purpose Novruz Celebrations were arranged with participation of Zykh Communities in Khatai District on March 14’ 2006, On last Tuesday before Novruz Holiday.

 The celebrations were realized within the frameworks of “Zykh Community Development Initiative” Project under the financial support BP/ ShahDeniz Co with the initiative of local communities.

 The celebrations ended with various colorful songs.
