The next Test Demonstration of the Energy Bus was arranged in
Sumgait
Sumgait, Azerbaijan; March 28, 2005
The next test
demonstration of Energy Bus was arranged at Kimyachilar settlement of
Sumgait on March 28’ 2005. Test demonstration was organized within the
framework of Effective Usage of Energy Resources by communities and
Improvement of Access to Alternative Energy Sources project. The project
is being financed by BP, OSCE and International Finance Cooperation (IFC)
The visitors were provided with the following information during the
demonstration:

Information about the
project and donors;

Information about the
structure of the Bus;

Safety information;
-
Information about the
corners within the Bus and models.
Besides all
above-mentioned, working models of the solar panel and sawdust heater were
demonstrated outside the Bus.
108 people representing the Kimyachilar community members and members of
Teacher Parent Association (TPA) active in secondary school # 5 of
Jabrayil region.
Including, 2 representatives of Solaris Company and a representative of
Energy Bur project took part at the demonstration.
Information about the insulation works, effective usage of the energy,
structure, usage and technical indicators of the sawdust heater, structure
and technical indicators of the solar panel was disseminated during the
training conducted to 8th-11th classes of the school #5 of Jabrayil
region.
Moreover, insulation works were conducted at the community center and the
center was provided with the insulation materials.
