Effective Usage of Energy Resources and
Access to Alternative Energy Sources project implemented by Umid HSSC
under the finance of BP, OSCE and International Finance Corporation
grasped an interest of some international and local agencies.
Therefore, under the request of BP the next test demonstration of the
Energy Bus was arranged on February 04, 2005. 12 representatives of BP,
Eurasia Foundation, AzerEnergy Company, Energy Institute and credit
agencies participated in the demonstration.
Visitors of the Bus were informed about the project and donors, cabs and
models within the Bus, as well as the safety.
Working models of the technologies were demonstrated for and brochures were
distributed to the visitors.
At the end of the demonstration, the visitors of the EB provided the
following suggestions:

Demonstration of a biogas unit should be
extendedin a current development rate of agriculture in Azerbaijan;

Demonstration should be arranged in all
regions of Azerbaijan;
-
There is need for constrcution of micro HES on
mountaneous rivers of Azerbaijan;
-
Raising community members’ awareness in this
direction would be effective.
